Macklemore & Ryan Lewis playing at the Peace & Love festival this summer
Today we present the first Bad Taste Events booking for the summer of 2013 and there will be many more to come. We look forward to an eventful summer.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis will be playing at the Peace & Love festival between June 25-29th (specific date TBA) and with several fantastic club shows this year we expect a really enthusiastic crowd.

“Vår turnéledare Perry filmade videon med mobilen direkt efter en spelning i Blädinge i somras, logen var ett stycke skånsk kulturhistoria – Varieté Vauduvills gamla buss. Det tog tjugo minuter och alla betedde sig mycket barnsligt och oproffsigt så det blev bra!”
Kendrick Lamar club shows in Sweden
Yesterday Kendrick Lamar released his highly anticipated album G.O.O.D Kid, Mad city. We are happy to announce that he will be visiting Sweden next year for no less then three club concerts.

His debute album Section.80 managed to get world wide attention. After guest appearances on songs by Drake, Rick Ross and The Game the anticipations rose for the new album and has been one of the most talked about album releases this year. He has already performed on most of the big festivals in the U.S and Europe and has become known for his intense presence on stage. It is with great confidence we welcome this rising world star to Sweden.
The shows are presented in cooperation with Kulturbolaget and the tickets will be released Thursday the 25th of October.
Timbuktu & Damn! släpper album ihop i november – ”Full Ära”
Det är 10 år sen nu. 10 år sen som Lunds bästa rappare, Timbuktu tillsammans med Lunds bästa funkband, Damn! slog sina påsar ihop. Tillsammans blev dem hela Sveriges största, bästa och mest älskade liveakt!
Det här firar nu Timbuktu och Damn! på det funkigaste av vis, med en ny platta, “Full Ära” där Timbuktu och Damn! gått in i studion och spelat in 16 livefavoriter i ny musikalisk tappning. Och inte minst med en exklusiv konsert på Hovet i Stockholm den 17 november som blir deras enda officiella spelning ihop i höst.
Även om de spelat in saker ihop tidigare så representerar “Full Ära” första gången de intagit en studio helhjärtat tillsammans. Svante Lodén, överste funkpräst i Damn!, förklarar
– Vi utnyttjade chansen när det fanns det här underbara svepskälet med 10-årsjubiléet. Vi var sugna på att göra en ’Greatest Versions’-platta, på old school-vis, där man spelar många tillsammans i studion.
Resultatet är inget annat än magnifikt och första singel från skivan är “Stanna Kvar”, en svensk version av den klassiska Damn! låten “Got To Go”.
Ett par dagar innan albumsläppet kommer Timbuktu och Damn! göra en exklusiv spelning i Hovet som dessutom kommer livesändas i ett stort antal biografer runt om i Skandinavien. Till jubileumskonserten utlovar Svante samma sanslösa ös som vanligt:
– Det är rätt så bra odds när man går och ser oss att det blir en upplevelse. Vi spelar alltid med precis allt vi har. Vi sätter en sådan ära i att vara musiker på den nivån oavsett förutsättningarna.

New Danko Jones video out now
We are proud to give you the new video for ‘Just A Beautiful Day” by Danko Jones. A black and white, back to basics performance video that matches the theme of their new album Rock And Roll Is Black And Blue perfectly and stands in stark contrast to the star studded video trilogy that accompanied the singles for their previous album. It was directed by the Diamond Bros who of course were responsible for the Danko Jones documentary Bring On The Mountain as well as the aforementioned video trilogy.
The album came out in Europe two weeks ago and entered the charts in no less than 10 territories with the highlight a number three entry in Sweden. This is the band’s highest ever album chart entry and trumped new releases by The Killers, Mumford & Sons and several high profile domestic artists.
After just completing a short but successful run of shows in the US the band are now gearing up for a European tour starting the week after next and that will be followed by a string of dates in their native Canada. Several shows in Europe are already sold out and we expect most to be by the time doors open. Dates listed below.
