We’re happy to announce that Kno, Natti, and Deacon the Villain that comprise the southern state hip hop trio CunninLynguists are once again returning to Europe! The trio will visit Europe in November for the second part of the Strange Universe European Tour, which began in 2014.

CunninLynguists have one of the most consistent catalogues of any current hip hop act, and they have built one of the most loyal worldwide fan bases in all of indie rap, without the help of a bigger record label. They have been going strong for fifteen years and with their southern boom-bap, strong lyrics and energetic live shows they are at the top of their game and more relevant than ever. By sampling everything from psych-rock to blues and New Romantic to polka, they have been musically compared to UGK and Atmosphere in the same breath. They have toured and shared stages with Kanye West, Aesop Rock, Nappy Roots, Cee-Lo Green (Goodie Mob), People Under The Stairs, Raekwon and Brand Nubian and produced for Lil’ Scrappy as well as KRS-One.

This time they are accompanied by American rapper Sheisty Khrist as support, who has collaborated with the members of CunninLynguists on previous tracks before.

Both Deacon and Kno have current solo projects – Kno recently released the album ‘Phantom Limbs’, together with Sadistik, and Deacon is releasing his first solo album ‘Peace Or Power’ on September 30^th. Exciting stuff is in the works, and as they are now heading over to Europe with a bunch of club gigs lined up, there couldn’t be a better time to see them perform!

We can now proudly present our first booking for the 2016 festival summer, and it’s a great one! Wiz Khalifa is coming to Landstreff in Stavanger. This was the first artist announcement for the Norwegian festival that takes place on May 6-8, 2016.

The American rapper Mick Jenkins is coming to Scandinavia for a couple of exclusive gigs this fall!

Mick Jenkins lives in Chicago and is a part of the hip hop-group Free Nation. He has released a couple of very appreciated mixtapes, such as Trees & Truths, and the critically acclaimed The Water[s] which gave Jenkins national attention and made Timbaland publically praise his musical talent and intricate lyrics.

During 2014 Jenkins was on tour with Method Man, Redman, B-Real and Berner and during 2015 he headlined a tour alongside Pro Era member Kirk Knight, and sold out more than half of the shows. This summer Jenkins has toured with Joey Bada$$ on his Phase 1 World Domination Tour.

Now Jenkins is back with a new project, an EP titled Wave[s] that is released the 21st of August on record label Cinematic Music Group. Following the release Jenkins embarks on a small tour this fall, with a couple of intimate, exclusive gigs at Rust in Copenhagen, October 31st, and a free club gig at Scandic Malmen November 1st.

We’re stoked to announce that Atmosphere, the pride of Minneapolis, is returning to Scandinavia!

Atmosphere, a duo containing rapper and front figure Slug and producer Ant, has provided the indie hip hop scene with great albums and uncountable awesome live gigs for about two decades.

Having been doing music together since the early nineties, Ant’s production and Slug’s lyrics and rap mix perfectly together, and they have remained in their position as one of the most influential acts on the independent hip hop scene in the 21^st century. They have a huge, loyal fanbase in America, and frequently do live gigs with up to 10 000 sold tickets. In May 2014 their latest album, Southsiders, was released on record label Rhymesayers, a record label that they themselves have been a part of creating, and which celebrates its 20-year jubilee this year!

Atmosphere return to Scandinavia this fall for exclusive club gigs in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm, and you should definitely take this opportunity to see these professionals perform!

We’re happy to announce that Joey Bada$$ will be doing a Nordic Tour this winter!

Joey Bada$$, American independent rapper from Brooklyn, New York, has made a name for himself in the hip hop music scene over the last couple of years with his raw, unique and variated Brooklynesque sound. He puts a lot of proud in his honest, original style and he is one of the original members of hip hop collective Pro Era, with which he has released two mixtapes and done countless shows.

During 2012 Joey released his first mixtape, 1999, which got great feedback from both critics and the audience. The year after followed critically acclaimed mixtapes Rejex and Summer Knights. His debut album B4.DA.$$, which was released in January 2015, sold an impressive 56 000 already during the first week in the USA, which made it both the best selling hip hop album and the best selling independent album in the States during the week of the release.

The success with B4.DA.$$ has paved the way for a bright future for Joey Bada$$, and his original and innovative sound speaks for a bright future for modern hip hop over all. Bada$$ visited the north this summer and did a bunch of celebrated festival shows at Bråvalla, Tinderbox, Slottsfjell and Provinssi.

Be sure not to miss this word wizard perform at one of the club gigs in Copenhagen, Oslo, Helsinki and Stockholm this winter.

We’re happy to confirm Angel Haze for music festival Popaganda in Stockholm, Friday the 28th of August!

Angel Haze released critically acclaimed album Dirty Gold in 2013 and has since then not seased to fascinate with her outspokenness and unique realness. Is she not doing celebrated live shows or opening for Kanye West, she’s walking in fashion shows for Donna Karan. Haze is releasing her second album The Flowers Are Blooming Now in August, so there couldn’t be a better time to go see her perform!
