Vic Mensa join the Roskilde 2014 line up

The official line up for Roskilde 2014 is out and joining the list of new names is the american rapper Vic Mensa. Together with other Bad Taste Events artists A$AP Ferg and Dilated Peoples they are going to represent american Hip Hop well at this summers festival next to a roster of big names such as Outkast, Rolling Stones, Drake, Stevie Wonder amongst others.

Club gigs for NOFX in May

We can now proudly announce that the American punk legends in NOFX are coming to Scandinavia in May for four club gigs. For the first time in 10 years they are doing exclusive club gigs after only have been seen on the scandinavian festival stages in the last decade.

NOFX who are well known for their raw and straight forward music often criticising the american republican government have with their energetic stage performances taken on the world over and over again. After 28 years together they have covered everything from gold records, reality TV shows and tours all over the world.

Strange Universe European Tour 2014 with Sadistik and Thomax

We’re pleased to announce that Deacon The Villain, Natti and Kno – collectively known as CunninLynguists – finally will be returning to Europe this spring!

They will be doing so in support of Strange Journey Volume Three, the first ever truly crowd-sourced album. After spending a year interacting with fans via social media and allowing them to vote on guest artists, suggest song concepts, letting them peek in on studio sessions and make decisions on album artwork, the result will finally be released on April 1st via Bad Taste Records.

The album will feature fan-selected artists such as Murs, Del The Funky Homosapien, Aesop Rock, Grieves, Celph Titled, Tonedeff and more and a first sample, In The City featuring Zumbi of Zion I, can be heard here: https://soundcloud.com/cunninlynguists

Joining them on the tour are Sadistik (starting in Finland) and Thomax with Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Germany, France and Switzerland all included on the itinerary.

Four wins at the Kingsize gala

Last night was the yearly Kingsize gala in Stockholm, Sweden celebrating HipHop, Soul, R&B and it’s surrounding culture. We’re happy that three of our artists together claimed 4 prices at the event. Timbuktu won best live of the year as well as the Kingsize artist price for his work against racism. Bad Taste Events artists A$AP Rocky won best international album for “Long. Live. ASAP” and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis won best international music video for the track “Can’t Hold Us”
