The duo are partnering with Plus 1 so that a euro from every ticket purchased on their tour will go to support Partners in Health, Equal Justice Initiative, Youth Speaks and the 30/30 Project. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis just released the new single “Downtown”, which continues to climb the Billboard and radio charts on the rise to quickly become the duo’s 3rd Top 5 hit. The song, which features Eric Nally and Hip Hop pioneers Grandmaster Caz, Kool Moe Dee and Melle Mel, has been performed on the VMA’s and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and the video has been viewed over 45 million times on YouTube. It was certified GOLD with over 500,000 in sales in the US, selling over 1 million tracks worldwide. Last night the duo performed the song at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Milan where it won the prize for “Best Video”.
“Downtown” is the first single from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’s follow up to their multiple GRAMMY Award winning, platinum selling debut album ‘The Heist.’ Album cut, “Growing Up (Sloane’s Song)” featuring Ed Sheeran was released in August. Lemaitre ger sig ut på Closer To Home Tour i början av 2016, med stopp i Stockholm den 12 februari.
Ulrik Denizou Lund och Ketil Jansen bildar tillsammans den norska duon Lemaitre. Lemaitre är Norges senaste tillskott till den mjuka, melodiska elektroniska genren av artister som blandar elektroniska grooves med klassiska pop-låttexter. Oslo-födda Lund och Jensen började göra musik direkt efter gymnasiet, och med ett disciplinerat nio till fem-fokus började duon snart väcka intresse på flera håll.
Det var deras andra låt, ”The Friendly Sound”, som blev startskottet på duons karriär. Låten exploderade på internet efter att ha lagts upp på Soundcloud och blivit etta på Hype Machine, och Lemaitre började få förfrågningar om att uppträda världen över, i allt från USA till Litauen. Sedan dess har erbjudanden bara fortsatt att rulla in.
Lemaitre har över en miljon följare på Soundcloud, och deras EP Relativity 2 har legat etta på iTunes elektroniska topplista i både USA och Kanada. Till deras fans räknas storheter inom elektronisk musik såsom Porter Robinson, Madeon, Kygo, och Martin Solveig, och de turnerade även tillsammans med Robinson i somras.
Lemaitre residerar för tillfället i Los Angeles där de är i full gång med att färdigställa deras sjunde EP som släpps i början av 2016. Till första singeln, ”Closer”, samarbetade duon med den svenska sångerskan Jennie A, låten släpptes i juli och är redan uppe i nästan 7 miljoner lyssningar på Spotify.

We’re happy to announce that Kno, Natti, and Deacon the Villain that comprise the southern state hip hop trio CunninLynguists are once again returning to Europe! The trio will visit Europe in November for the second part of the Strange Universe European Tour, which began in 2014.
CunninLynguists have one of the most consistent catalogues of any current hip hop act, and they have built one of the most loyal worldwide fan bases in all of indie rap, without the help of a bigger record label. They have been going strong for fifteen years and with their southern boom-bap, strong lyrics and energetic live shows they are at the top of their game and more relevant than ever. By sampling everything from psych-rock to blues and New Romantic to polka, they have been musically compared to UGK and Atmosphere in the same breath. They have toured and shared stages with Kanye West, Aesop Rock, Nappy Roots, Cee-Lo Green (Goodie Mob), People Under The Stairs, Raekwon and Brand Nubian and produced for Lil’ Scrappy as well as KRS-One.
This time they are accompanied by American rapper Sheisty Khrist as support, who has collaborated with the members of CunninLynguists on previous tracks before.
Both Deacon and Kno have current solo projects – Kno recently released the album ‘Phantom Limbs’, together with Sadistik, and Deacon is releasing his first solo album ‘Peace Or Power’ on September 30th. Exciting stuff is in the works, and as they are now heading over to Europe with a bunch of club gigs lined up, there couldn’t be a better time to see them perform!
