Tove Lo to receive the prestigious Eliason Merit Award 2015

Swedish singer and songwriter Tove Nilsson aka Tove Lo will be receiving the prestigious Eliason Merit Award (EMA) in Los Angeles, CA on Dec 5th 2015. She receives the award for her ability to successfully raise Sweden’s profile within the music and entertainment industry and significantly contributing to strengthening Swedish-American relations.

“I’m very very honored to receive the Eliason Merit Reward! Sweden and the U.S. have a strong relationship in pop music and I’m so happy to be a part of it.”

The award honors individuals and businesses that have contributed significantly to strengthening Swedish-American relations within the areas of commerce, culture, science and arts.

Previous winners of the EMA include Joel Kinnaman Actor, Steve Angello DJ and former member of Swedish House Mafia, Per Hallberg Sound editor and three-time Academy Award winner, Pia Sundhage Head Coach of USA’s National Soccer Team, Dolph Lundgren Actor and Maud Adams Actress.

The exclusive, celebrity packed EMA award ceremony, featuring a red carpet session and an after party with top performances is presented and hosted by the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce Los Angeles (SACC-LA). A non-profit organization founded in 1988 with the goal to advocate on the behalf of the Swedish-American business community.

Wiz Khalifa to Roskilde Festival 2016

G-Eazy to Vega in May 2016

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis on European Arena Tour in March/April

2013 they did widely celebrated shows for huge audiences in Stockholm, Oslo and Copenhagen. Today, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis are announcing their first European tour in nearly two years, playing their biggest shows in Europe to date. In Scandinavia we can look forward to shows at Spektrum in Oslo, Ericsson Globe in Stockholm and Forum in Copenhagen. Click here for full list of dates.

The duo are partnering with Plus 1 so that a euro from every ticket purchased on their tour will go to support Partners in Health, Equal Justice Initiative, Youth Speaks and the 30/30 Project. They are committed to using their platform and resources to advance issues of equity and justice and are partnering with organizations dedicated to these same values.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis just released the new single “Downtown”, which continues to climb the Billboard and radio charts on the rise to quickly become the duo’s 3rd Top 5 hit. The song, which features Eric Nally and Hip Hop pioneers Grandmaster Caz, Kool Moe Dee and Melle Mel, has been performed on the VMA’s and Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and the video has been viewed over 45 million times on YouTube. It was certified GOLD with over 500,000 in sales in the US, selling over 1 million tracks worldwide. Last night the duo performed the song at the MTV Europe Music Awards in Milan where it won the prize for “Best Video”.

“Downtown” is the first single from Macklemore & Ryan Lewis’s follow up to their multiple GRAMMY Award winning, platinum selling debut album ‘The Heist.’ Album cut, “Growing Up (Sloane’s Song)” featuring Ed Sheeran was released in August. Lemaitre till Debaser Strand

Lemaitre ger sig ut på Closer To Home Tour i början av 2016, med stopp i Stockholm den 12 februari.

Ulrik Denizou Lund och Ketil Jansen bildar tillsammans den norska duon Lemaitre. Lemaitre är Norges senaste tillskott till den mjuka, melodiska elektroniska genren av artister som blandar elektroniska grooves med klassiska pop-låttexter. Oslo-födda Lund och Jensen började göra musik direkt efter gymnasiet, och med ett disciplinerat nio till fem-fokus började duon snart väcka intresse på flera håll.

Det var deras andra låt, ”The Friendly Sound”, som blev startskottet på duons karriär. Låten exploderade på internet efter att ha lagts upp på Soundcloud och blivit etta på Hype Machine, och Lemaitre började få förfrågningar om att uppträda världen över, i allt från USA till Litauen. Sedan dess har erbjudanden bara fortsatt att rulla in.

Lemaitre har över en miljon följare på Soundcloud, och deras EP Relativity 2 har legat etta på iTunes elektroniska topplista i både USA och Kanada. Till deras fans räknas storheter inom elektronisk musik såsom Porter Robinson, Madeon, Kygo, och Martin Solveig, och de turnerade även tillsammans med Robinson i somras.

Lemaitre residerar för tillfället i Los Angeles där de är i full gång med att färdigställa deras sjunde EP som släpps i början av 2016. Till första singeln, ”Closer”, samarbetade duon med den svenska sångerskan Jennie A, låten släpptes i juli och är redan uppe i nästan 7 miljoner lyssningar på Spotify.

Lemaitre kommer till Stockholm och Debaser Strand den 12 februari. Missa ej!

Angel Haze returns to Scandinavia

We are very excited to announce that Angel Haze will return to Scandinavia for three shows in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Copenhagen in January 2016. The brand new album “Back To The Woods” (Spotify / iTunes) was released in September and is the follow up to 2013’s critically acclaimed “Dirty Gold”. Tickets will be on sale this Thursday.
