Macklemore & Ryan Lewis to Scandinavia in the fall

Since the release of The Heist the power duo Macklemore & Ryan Lweis have conquered charts all over the world with both the album and their No.1 hit Thrift Shop. It is this years biggest success story and there is no doubt they will achieve greatness in the future.

We can now happily announce and welcome them back to Scandinavia in October for three club shows in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm (tickets for Copenhagen will be released on April 25th and tickets for Oslo and Stockholm on April 26th).

Chords and EL-P booked for Roskilde Festival

We are proud to announce that both Chords and EL-P will be playing at this years Roskilde Festival.

With the release of the album Cancer 4 Cure, EL-P toured much of 2012 and with the schedule for 2013 quickly being filled up we’re happy that he will be back in Scandinavia soon.

Also..

Chords will take the stage on the major Danish festival, a place close to home and of cultural significance growing up. With the critically acclaimed album Looped State Of Mind in the bag, Chords is hotter than ever and will be looking to give the fans a show of a lifetime!

Other notable artist under the Bad Taste Events banner booked for Roskilde are: Action Bronson, Danny Brown, Joey Bada$$, Flatbush Zombies and last but not least Kendrick Lamar

The festival will take place between July 4 – 7. Get your tickets here!

Chords

Danko Jones release visual story piece to accompany new single

We’re proud to give you the latest visual installment from Danko Jones; – the official music video to their new single ””I Believed In God””. It’s directed by the Diamond Bros who are also responsible for the band’s four previous videos as well as “Bring On The Mountain” – the much heralded documentary that was released last year.

With the band busy touring, the video plays like a short movie starring Zelda Williams (daughter of Robin) and Jason Trost (featured in the Full of Regret and I Think Bad Thoughts videos and writer / director / star of movies like The FP and Vs) in a love story… of sorts. Check it out here:


The video was shot in Los Angeles and enlisted a production crew worthy of a Hollywood blockbuster with previous credits including Looper, Men In Black, Predator 2 and many more. Directors of photography were Kenny Stoff and Jessica Young who also did Dave Grohl’s Sound City documentary.

Helf Off EP release

The upcoming EP by roots-reggeae band Helt Off contains interpretations of their all time favourite songs. The bands musical core concists of Chords and Måns Asplund who together through the years have release three culturually magnificent albums.

On May 1st the 7 track EP “Sakta i backarna” will be released containing tracks written by bands such as Depeche Mode and Kraftwerk to Swedish cult artists such as Stefan Sundström and Familjen.

The band is hitting the road this summer and will make 5 stops in Sweden (See dates below). A new album with all new material will be released this fall.

After making both the criticly acclaimed  music video triology “Below The Belt” and the documentary “Bring On The Mountain” for Danko the Diamond Brothers will once again get to show us what they’re capable of. And as you can see in the video below, it looks pretty awesome!
