Danko Jones featured in Kick-Ass 2

Friday the 16th sees the official premiere of Kick-Ass 2 and with a cast including Jim Carrey this time around it is predicted to be an even bigger success than the much heralded first movie.

It is with great pride we can now announce that one of the most significant scenes in the film is played out to the sound of the classic Danko Jones song “Dance” – off their 2003 album “We Sweat Blood”. This follows a long line of prominent placements for the band – including songs featured in True Blood, CSI:NY and EA Sports NHL 2011 to name a few.

Needless to say, the song is also included on the movie’s official soundtrack and was also the musical theme of the film’s first trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ekram9md95k
