Swedish comedians Henrik Schyffert and Fredrik Lindström to perform their comedy show "ÄGD" for the last time – in New York!

Live Nation, Blixten & Co and Bad Taste Events present:

After five seasons, 150 shows and 175 000 visitors, the time has come for Henrik Schyffert and Fredrik Lindström to cross the finish line with their celebrated comedy show ”ÄGD – Vad kostar ett rikare liv?”. As a celebration to the amazing journey the two comedians have gone through with ”ÄGD”, the pair will perform one last unique evening at the Gramercy in New York City on April 5th. Tickets on sale on Friday. The show will be performed in Swedish.

A modern version of classic Swedish comedy – Schyffert and Lindström – lays with their show “ÄGD” forward the burning truths about how modern day man look at all things in life from an economical viewpoint. We are slaves under economic growth, invest in relationships and convince ourselves that we will become happier if we buy that fitness tracker or new tablet. If nothing else it will at least stimulate our economical system.

We all nourish the dream of a better life. To get richer and work less, to have the time for self realization and fly off to a tropical paradise for a couple of weeks during the dullest month of the year. Advertising, lifestyle podcasts and glossy magazines all tell us the same thing; the road to happiness is spelled consumption

Swedish press on “ÄGD”:

Aftonbladet, 5/5 – “You’ll laugh until you cry”

Göteborgs-Posten – “Makes everyone laugh uncontrollably”

Expressen, 4/5 – “One of the funniest, most thought-provoking and daring shows I’ve seen in a long time”
